Saman Faraz Administrative Towers Project

Contractor: Omran Azarestan Company

The Project of Office Towers named Saman Faraz is the tallest administrative structure in Iran. It is located at the south western side of the intersection of two highways; Hakim and Sheikh Bahaii in district 1, Tehran. In 2016, Bespar Pey - Iranian company started the construction work of this project undertaking the stabilization phase as well as excavation phase. By the end of 2017, Omran Azarestan company stepped in to lay the foundation and build the concrete skeleton of the project. A characteristic feature of this project is its involving the production of self-consolidating concrete with the capacity for resistance at the level C50 in as big a quantity as 130000 cubic meters. This concrete is molded in the templates as the result of its weight alone. So, no vibration whether internal or external is needed for the concrete to meet the necessary resistance factors of the structure. The capacity for the production of 120 cubic meters of S.C.C. concrete in one hour with resistance capacity of C50 degree, became possible, for the first time, thanks to the installation of a batching plant suitable for construction of towers in the underground pit of the project as deep as thirty meters below the surface of the earth through providing the needed material reserve including cement and stone which were kept ready for use in horizontal repositories.
