In recent decades, rich oil and gas resources has led, in Iran, to emergence of so many thermal power stations including gas plants and steam plants. As a result, power plant construction has developed much as a branch of construction industry.

Every power station is constituted of several pivotal parts like turbines and the related installations, cooling tower and power cycle. These are very complicated elements as far as the technology for their manufacture is concerned.

The introduction of other energy careers like core to the system of power production in recent years, has led to important changes in the processes of power plant construction.
